Beijing Jiaotong University Signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Civil Aviation Management Institute of China


Beijing Jiaotong University signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Civil Aviation Management Institute of China at SY612 on December 29th, 2017. Zhang Xingchen, vice president of Beijing Jiaotong University, Sha Hongjiang, secretary of the Party committee of Civil Aviation Management Institute of China, and Yan Zhilin, vice dean of Civil Aviation Management Institute of China attended the ceremony. The ceremony was chaired by Meng Lingyun, vice dean of the School of Traffic and Transportation.

Zhang Xingchen warmly welcomed the arrival of Civil Aviation Management Institute of China. He introduced in detail the basic situation of Beijing Jiaotong University and the achievements made by the university in recent years. He pointed out Civil Aviation Management Institute of China is the only one adult higher educational institution that comes under Civil Aviation Administration of China. Since establishment , it has trained nearly ten thousand civil aviation personnel working for civil aviation systems. The strategic cooperation with Civil Aviation Management Institute of China is conducive to promoting the common development of both sides.

Yan Zhilin elaborated on the basic situation and development prospects of the Civil Aviation Management Institute of China. Sha Hongjiang then pointed out that the School of Traffic and Transportation, Beijing Jiaotong University, is the birthplace of China's modern transportation education, and has a strong human resources and intellectual resources. He hoped that both parties can share resources in their cooperation, complement each other's advantages and make joint efforts to give full play to their advantages.

Zhang Xingchen and Sha Hongjiang signed the strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of both parties. The heads of the external liaison office, office of research, academic affairs office and graduate school as well as professors from the School of Traffic and Transportation participated in the above activities.
